A logo designed for an African hair and beauty supplier based in Basingstoke. I worked with the client to create a suitable logo for their business.
Logo design
The image was amongst the materials supplied to me by the client and I picked this one out and had the idea to attach it to the upstroke of the "h" in the name. By a stroke of good fortune the flow of the hair naturally flowed around the dot of the "i" and from there the logo design took shape. I decided to incorporate the location of "Basingstoke" into the logo because being a local supplier was a big part of the client's business plan so it made good sense to let people know where the company is based.
